If you never fail, you never learn, so the saying goes. However, there are some errors that are so ridiculous that you have to ask yourself if the persons who made them left with anything more than a chuckle.
These amusing accidents can be found on the r/onejob subreddit. Any day you turn it on, you’ll witness images of an ill-dressed mannequin, regrettable typos in significant passages, and much more.
Bored Panda has already written on the online community here and here, but we must continue because individuals keep failing. Have fun.

We sincerely hope that these images will persuade you that mistakes are an inevitable aspect of life. It may take some time to come to terms with this fact, though. To find out how to embrace it, we contacted Dr. Laura Bowles, a registered clinical psychologist.
The NY Health Hypnosis & Integrative Therapy team includes Dr. Bowles. Her areas of expertise include treating eating disorders, anxiety, panic attacks, IBS, digestive and gut problems, motivation, self-esteem, and relationship difficulties.
According to Dr. Bowles, “fear of failure can have many origins,” Bored Panda was informed. “A fear of failing might emerge in people who were raised with severe criticism or rejection from parents, carers, or loved ones. The same is true for people who, after failing, felt ashamed, embarrassed, or bullied.

According to Dr. Bowles, those who suffer from perfectionism may also be afraid of failing. “What can sometimes be underlying this fear is low self-esteem, meaning a lack of confidence or belief in oneself,” she said.
Additionally, it is increasing, particularly among younger individuals. According to a study done between 1989 and 2016, college students’ perfectionism “increased by statistically significant amounts.” Even more alarming is the fact that social pressure-induced perfectionism grew twice as quickly as self- and other-oriented perfectionism.

There is much validity to the adage that we learn more from failure than from accomplishment. “It very often has the potential to be a positive experience,” additional Dr. Bowles said.
“A lot of our mistakes, especially when we were young, teach us new approaches to problems and how to solve them. Resiliency, or the capacity to tolerate and overcome adversity, is developed when children are able to securely and healthily work through failure.

Michael Jordan stated in one of his advertisements: “Over 9,000 shots have been missed during my career. I have about 300 games lost. I’ve been trusted to make the game-winning shot 26 times, but I’ve missed. I have repeatedly failed throughout my life. I succeed because of this.
The sentiment is conveyed, even though you may find it cliched.

But when Jordan was kicked off the basketball team at his school, he too broke down in tears. He was still a teenager, of course, but it’s okay for people to feel conflicted about their mistakes. Quite the opposite.
“Failure can be quite painful, and can bring up many different conflicting emotions,” stated Dr. Bowles. “Accepting our emotions is one of the finest ways to deal with painful situations. After the incident, give yourself permission to sit with and process your emotions without ignoring them.
